Anne's professional interests stem from her early studies of psychology - from a BS in Criminal Psychology to MS Degrees in Educational and Organizational Psychology. Her fascination centers around what drives people to do what they do. Motivation, leadership, teamwork and communication all fuel Anne's curiosity and expertise. Her career path has been a reflection of these interests. She held positions as a school psychologist, Director of Employee Development and Training, and Assistant to the State Superintendent of WI's Department of Public Instruction before co-founding QLD Learning.
Anne is co-author of four books: Building Shared Responsibility for Student Learning, The Handbook for SMART School Teams, and The Power of SMART Goals, and More Than a SMART Goal: Staying Focused on Student Learning. She co-developed with Jan one of QLD's classic and longest selling products, "Making Meaning Through Measurement." In her role as co-founder of QLD, she helps develop and deliver QLD's training and coaching, designs new programs and products, and serves on QLD's Board of Directors. In the field she is a keynote speaker, a S.M.A.R.T. coach, and a lead consultant for long-term clients.
On a personal note, she'd rather build forts and sand castles with her two grandsons than just about anything else.
