Jan O'Neill

Jan grew up in a family of teachers and researchers which explains a lot about her fascination with how we learn and what motivates us to learn. She has applied these interests as a classroom teacher, curriculum developer, union representative, consultant to government, healthcare and nonprofits, corporate trainer and consultant to manufacturing industries, and product marketing manager for a national quality management consulting firm. 

Anne Conzemius

Anne's professional interests stem from her early studies of psychology - from a BS in Criminal Psychology to MS Degrees in Educational and Organizational Psychology - her fascination centers around what drives people to do what they do.

Terry Robertson, Ph.D

Terry is a seasoned educator, administrator, consultant, and community leader. He has experience at all levels of education, working in and with teams and leaders of multiple disciplines, as well as within policy and administration. He is the department chair for an award winning interdisciplinary department at Northwest Missouri State University. He has coached /  facilitated quality improvement projects utilizing S.M.A.R.T.

Terry Morganti Fisher

Terry's 25 years with the Austin (TX) Independent School District includes serving as a special education teacher, A+ Technology Grant district leader, and Director of Professional Development. As Director of PD she developed support systems for teacher quality including: New Teacher Development, Mentor Teacher Program, Teacher Leadership Cohort Program, and a National Board Certification Program. Terry has a Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction and Instructional Technology from the University of TX in Austin, and Mid-Management Certification from Texas State University.

Shelly Robertson

Shelly Robertson is a 23 year veteran of personal and professional lifelong learning, shared teaching, shared learning, and shared responsibility, with a particular focus on youth empowerment and asset development. Shelly has taught at public and private PK -12 schools and at the university level. She currently administers "Public Achievement through the Heartland Foundation," a 19 county school and community based civics education process. Shelly is also a faculty member for the Annenberg Foundations' Rural School and Community Trust.

Teri Mills, Ph.D

Teri has been a speech and language clinician, college instructor, educational consultant, superintendent, special education director, and principal. A University of Wisconsin-Madison grad, Teri has a BA in Speech Pathology, an MS in Language Disorders, and Ph.D. in Educational Administration.

Teri grew up in a family of seven on the lakes of northern Wisconsin. When not on the job with QLD, Teri is involved in artsy projects like wildflower photography, jewelry making and painting. With her husband, Dave, and sons, Andy and Chris, she skis, kayaks and sails.

Jim Roussin

In addition to his work with QLD, Jim is a Strategic Change Consultant, a national trainer for The Center for Cognitive Coaching, and an associate of Human Systems Dynamics. He helped develop a coaching model for Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching for both the NEA and ETS. In February of 2006, Jim traveled to India with Berkana Institute to explore new forms of leadership that are emerging in global communities. He serves as a Trustee on the NSDC Board.

Jim resides in Minnesota. He is currently consulting for ASCD in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Dean Stacy

Dean has been involved in secondary education in Texas schools for over 35 years, serving as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, and principal at both the middle and high school levels. In addition to Dean's work with QLD, he works as a facilitator in an alternative education program, and assists in managing secondary level special programs. Dean received B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from Texas Christian University, and a mid-management certification from the University of North Texas.

Dean lives in Crowley, Texas.

Judy Stacy

Judy has over 26 years in elementary education, serving as a classroom teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal, and principal. In addition to her teaching and administrative work, she has been involved in leadership development with aspiring and new administrators for several years. She has served as a mentor to new administrators. Judy received her B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Texas Wesleyan College. She received her MA in Educational Administration and her Mid-Management Certification in Education from Texas Woman's University.

Kiett Takkunen

Kiett has more than 30 years of teaching, training, and consulting experience, serving as a classroom teacher, TAG Resource Teacher, district TAG and Language Arts Specialist, and teacher-trainer. She earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her expertise in the Six Trait Writing Model, reading methods, and talented/gifted education is especially helpful in her work with low performing schools.

Along with their yellow lab, Ginger, Kiett and her husband live in the beautiful Wisconsin bluffs and valleys.
